Born in Gladstone, Queensland, and raised across Australia, Libby Taverner has cultivated a diverse range of interests and talents from an early age. After moving to Perth, Western Australia in 2012, she graduated from John Curtin College of the Arts in 2022, where a passion for theatre blossomed. This creative foundation set the stage for a dynamic career path.


In 2023, Libby began studies in education with a specialization in special needs at the University of Notre Dame Fremantle, driven by a deep commitment to nurturing future generations. However, she also harbors a longstanding passion for modeling. Signing with a mother agency at the start of 2023, she soon received exciting offers from clients around the globe. As a result, she decided to embrace this opportunity, temporarily pausing her studies to pursue a career in the modeling industry. In early 2025, Libby debuted as an exclusive on the Prada runway before walking for other prestigious brands like Alaia, Chanel, Chloe, Louis Vuitton, McQueen, Saint Laurent, and Schiaparelli in her first season. She was named a Top Newcomer by both Vogue and Models.com as a result. In her first campaign season, Libby landed Fendi by Steven Meisel, McQueen by Glen Luchford, and Saint Laurent by Drew Vickers.


Alongside modeling, Libby enjoys cooking, exploring nature, traveling, playing soccer, and delving into international cuisine. A strong advocate for mental health, she aims to integrate these values into all aspects of her life and career.


Looking ahead, Libby is excited about her future in modeling and aspires to return to acting, as well as eventually completing her degree in primary school teaching. Libby remains dedicated to balancing her creative pursuits with her educational goals.
